Fruit pulp, frozen fruit, frozen green peas and dried leaf — processed and frozen at our own facility in Narsinghpur. Every item below is something we run ourselves.
Pack sizes and availability are confirmed against your order — the groves around Narsinghpur carry more than we process in any single season, so if you need something that is not listed, ask.
Jamun ripens for a few weeks a year. Custard apple gives you barely longer. Once the trees are done they are done — and a buyer who needs that fruit in February has nowhere to go.
Jhandiwala Farms exists to close that gap. Fruit comes in from the groves around Narsinghpur, is washed, pulped or sliced, weighed, sealed and frozen. What leaves our facility is the same fruit, available all year.

The grove
Where it begins.
Everything on this page starts under a tree in Narsinghpur district. The fruit is picked by hand into crates, and the crates go straight to the facility.
Handled once
Soft fruit does not forgive rough handling.
Jamun is thin-skinned and bruises easily. Crates are filled shallow, moved rather than tipped, and unloaded straight onto the wash line.
Jamun
The fruit that stains everything it touches.
Gloves, tubs, wash water, the seal on the bag. By the end of a jamun day the whole floor has gone purple — which is exactly what you want to see in a fruit bought for its colour as much as its flavour.
We handle it as pulp, as slice and as dry powder, in bulk, for buyers who need that colour to survive the journey.
One run, start to finish
The jamun run.
Seven stages, one hall, one shift — sorting through to freezing. What you see below is our own line and our own crew, not a selection of it.
01
Sorting
Graded by hand at the tables as the crates come in.
02
Washing
Through the washer before it touches a table.
03
Pulping
Broken down to pulp and lifted out of the tub by the jug.
04
Filling
Ladled into food-grade liners set in steel vessels and squared off.
05
Weighing
Brought to weight on a digital scale at the point of filling.
06
Sealing
Heat-sealed so the fruit is not exposed in the cold store.
07
Freezing
Crated and into the cold store, where it stays until it ships.
After sealing
Held at −18 °C.
Sealed liners are crated and go straight into the cold store. Nothing waits on the floor, and nothing comes back out until it ships.

The facility
Built for careful handling.
One hall, one line, one shift working it. Rotary washer at the head, steel tables down the length of it, scales and sealers at the end. Coats, masks, hairnets and gloves throughout.
The board
Same board, same floor, same people.
Registered as Jhandiwala Farms under GSTIN 23BZNPS0168L1ZW, at Gundrai Khurd on the Narsinghpur–Jabalpur road. Fruit is bought, processed and packed by one team in one place, so a repeat order behaves like the first one.
Sustainability
Working with the season, not against it.
Fruit is bought when the trees give it. Jamun for a few weeks, custard apple for a few more, peas in their own window. Nothing is forced out of season — the freezer is what carries a short harvest into the rest of the year.
Freezing whole batches at the point of processing is the least wasteful thing we can do with soft fruit. What ripens together is handled together, sealed the same day, and kept until a buyer needs it.
Seasonal buying
Fruit from the groves around Narsinghpur, taken at its own time.
Preserved, not wasted
A short harvest sealed and frozen rather than left to spoil.
Handled once
Picked, washed, filled and sealed by one team at one facility.
